Why Pollux exists

We got tired of software built by people who'd never run a store.

We've been the merchant staring at the app store at 11pm — installing the fifth "solution" that needed an API key, a developer, and a monthly minimum just to do one simple thing. The setup ate an afternoon. Support went to a ticket queue. And the widget still looked bolted on to the storefront we'd worked so hard to make feel premium.

So we started Pollux to build the small number of tools we actually wanted: fast to set up, branded to match your theme, no lock-in, and supported by the people who made them. We'd rather ship a handful of apps that earn their keep than a catalog of features nobody asked for.

The name comes from one of the twin stars in the Gemini constellation — fitting for a studio run by two people. When you email us, that's who answers: the two of us who designed, built, and support every line of what we ship.
